The world of guitar building lost a very important builder in Manuel Reyes this past Wednesday 11/12/2014. He leaves behind legacy of outstanding traditionally built guitars that have contributed to some of the greatest recordings known in the history of the guitar. We we will truly miss this wonderful builder. Click the link below for the full article on his passing.
It's that time again. Hermann Hauser III carries on the family tradition of building exquisite instruments with his newest piece; The Llobet model. This guitar is built in the style that the builder's grandfather, Hermann Hauser I, delivered to the great classical guitarist Miguel Llobet. It is made of beautiful Brazilian Rosewood back and sides and a beautiful piece of Spruce for the top. It features Reischl tuners and a gorgeous rosette. We are currently accepting deposits on this lovely instrument. Head over to our Facebook page for even more pictures of this guitar.

Hello Friends of Trilogy Guitars!
We've been receiving a lot of inquires as to when we were going to hold another concert. Being that our new locale is a bit too cozy to hold a concert in , we've again partnered up with our friends Holly Schiffer and Jeff Zucker (the fantastic photographer who shot all of the shows at the Trilogy Triangle) to present a wonderful house concert featuring the amazing fingerstyle guitarist Thomas Leeb. He's graced our stage a handful of times already, and if you haven't seen him yet, this is an artist you don't want to miss.
Join us as Thomas displays his absolute mastery of the acoustic guitar. Using his own compositions and a few covers, he takes us on an imaginative journey that encompasses rhythms from West Africa to the Americas--blending into a style that is uniquely his own. From the melodic and lyrical to the percussive and rhythmic, Thomas will bring his eclectic music to this intimate setting.
The concert will be held at the home of Holly Schiffer and Jeff Zucker in Venice, CA. The address is:
2329 Wilson Ave. Venice Beach, CA 90291
The door will open at 7:30.

Jury Duty kept me out of the office for most of the day but I managed to make it back in time for a visit from the very talented guitarist Giacomo Fiore and his Just Intonation Resophonic guitar! A player who doesn't shy away from challenging pieces, both for the performer and the audience, it was a pleasure talking to Giacomo about his passion for music and his exploration of Just Intonation. Lucky for you guitar fans out there, he's playing a couple of concerts around the Los Angeles area this week, a free concert in cool art space where he'll be playing some ear-bending rep and the other in a warm, intimate room in San Pedro with a beautifully mixed program. Go check him out!
