Marco Bortolozzo is a relative newcomer on the scene of guitar building; opening his first shop in 2010 in Villanova di Fossalta di Portogruaro, Italy. But his skills vastly outweigh his years as he was a quick study of the works of Antonio de Torres and Hermann Hauser under the tutelage of Dario Pontiggia. This 2014 spruce top is modeled on the traditions of Torres and the smaller body makes for a incredibly comfortable playing experience. The stunning birdseye maple draws you in but the long sustain and sweet tonality will have you digging through your repertoire to find something this guitar can’t do. This is guitar has seen almost zero playing time and it is just waiting for it’s new owner to get it vibrating and developing it’s tone even further.
